Not all of us are Mexicans or hispanics for that matter. "Nobody is holding a noose around your throat forcing you to stay" is a very self centered statement. Some people can not go back to their countries of origin due to the political climate, race and religious oppression. Nothing against you or Mexico. Cheers.

I’ll pick you up and drop your ass off at the border of El Paso and TJ. Let Pancho and the boys have their way with you. You’ll be begging to come back.

Yea I might have oversold it a little, but in other news, this court ruling sounds like good news to anyone who has gotten a notice to appear.

I know this is probably wrong but worth asking, so does that mean its a new path to GC if you get a notice to appear without a date?

Hi Demise, this is great news for a lot of people with deportation orders. I've been researching this court decision and it seems like 95% of the NTAs are defective. One lawyer said that in order to take advantage of this court decision one must petition to reopen/terminate the removal within 90 days from when this decision occured, this would show the court due diligence. Have you heard anything about this?

Of course to qualify for cancellation of removal you need a LPR/USC Spouse, Parent(s), and/or Child(ren), who'd suffer "Exceptional and Unusually Extreme Hardship". Now, these cases take years due to severe backlog (4,000 cap and many more applicants than that), during which you can apply for a work permit.

One important thing to remember is that you can buy a lot of time by seeking COR, lets say you actually arrived legally and have a USC child, the case can be reasonably drawn out long enough for the kid to turn 21.

Yeah, try saying "Hurrr, USA sucks, your home country can't be that bad" to a Venezuelan, Salvadoran, Honduran, or Iraqi dreamer.

Venezuelan here. Rather stay here living under a bridge while hiding from ICE than go back there.
