Looks like they are now saying it'll be a tropical storm instead of a full blown hurricane.

Looks like I can let my guard down given that its literally a week away.

According to fema flood maps I am in "Area of Minimal Flood Hazard"

Edit: Charlotte Observer saying it'll be cat 4 when it hits land
https://www.charlotteobserver.com/ne...218087770.html

Oooooooh fuck North Carolina is gonna get leveled.

Called this days ago, evacuate out of the flood areas if you can’t completely leave the zone of impact.

I am not in a flood area and the chart predicts it will be an S by the time it reaches me. I am safe and prepared.

I am in the Triangle. I am thinking of evacuating this weekend and doing a road trip to either Charlotte or Asheville.

Shouldn't you guys have already evacuated? or at least made plans to shelter elsewhere? afaik this storm should start affecting you guys by tomorrow night..... Night Hurricanes are nightmares, I experienced that during Hurricane Katrina in Miami.

Lol currently in Virginia trying to catch a flight but this stupid army bureaucracy is slowing things down. Might barricade the airport instead.

Nah turns out it turned southward towards the red headed stepchild known as South Carolina.

I went to the grocery store and even Johns were taking their hookers to the grocery store to get water.

I guess they were more interested in the hauling potential than other potential.
