This is a dangerous move. CIR will never move forward. Senate will never take up a CIR, not even anything DACA related. The progressive won't budge just like the freedom caucus.

After WH mtg on gov’t funding, McCarthy was asked if a provision to protect Robert Mueller would be a red line if it was added to the bill. McCarthy said “I didn’t know Robert Mueller needed protection. Our southern border needs protection.”

Scalise on border wall after WH mtg: There's a way to get this resolved and get $5 billion. That's not too much to secure border. We are a nation of laws and ought to be able to keep country safe and make sure people come in legal way are respected.
