He’s referring to the BRIDGE Act I think... protection for DACA.

they decide January 11th if they are going to take the case. if they dont it will be a blow for DACA and trump

But if SC doesn’t take thr case, there is no incentive for either side to take on the issue though.

Thats why it is a blow for DACA because then they kick the can down the road. It will be a blow for trump because he will not get his wall. He would have to shutdown the government again in order to start the talks again.

For some people its a bad thing because they cant go anywhere I need to see my grandparents.

You'd be able to see your grandparents if there's no DACA? Please do not assume that once DACA is gone, they'll give you something, let alone something better than DACA (aka DACA + travel or better).

No. DACA is still alive because the Trump administration didn't have good justification for removing it. They can provide the justification and end the program, even if SCOTUS rules in favor of the lower courts.

It's a high risk-high reward maneuver to end DACA.

Personally, I'd say keep DACA as is. Under this dysfunctional administration, there is no guarantee that we will receive a permanent solution.
