This is interesting. This is about ego. Trump is all about ego.This is a man that grew up without hearing the word “NO” to his wishes.
The Turtle Man and the other senate critters are egotistical too. They all want to look and feel important. All of them love power , money, and the spotlight. So far, they have happily catered to Trump. I mean, it’s in their nature. They’re brown nosers and ass kissers. If they greenlight Trump, they will turn Congress into a secondary branch of government instead of a co-equal branch. They will lose status and power and set a very dangerous precedent. If they openly oppose Trump, they could spark a civil war within the Republican Party and weaken their 2020 prospects. Very Muddy waters. Trump better back off and find a face saving way to get out of this.

Finally the fruits of his own stupidity are dooming him. Republicans are fracturing and turning against this literal retard. This could force them to either impeach Trump or work on overriding his veto and accept a more favorable compromise from Democrats.

McConnell is under investigation for taking Russian money. Looks like he will be in jail soon!
