You are in a tough spot. What I would try to do if I were you is pro-actively move to your home country. What I mean by that is, TOP resorts in the world must have a global presence, so keep an eye out for an opening.

Of course that would mean that if we do get legalized at some point, you'd probably be left out.

Another thing you could do is branch into other types of management that might be more marketable. Or maybe get certified? Having that piece of paper that says you went to school for something, as worthless as it actually is in reality, might give you a leg up when job shopping.

Take cost of living into consideration. My pay would go down by about 3/4 if I move back my country, Mexico. But I'd still be able to afford pretty much the same things

I would also recommend that you aim to work for companies with a presence in your home country, that way if things go south, just transfer. That's what I do
Man..my home country doesnt have software engineering jobs. Just basic web dev lmao. I think I will be jobless there.

Yeah, of course i took my cost of living into consideration and the pay is just not enough, this is why sometimes i say that i rather die than going back, saw my parents go trough that sht and living that again is something that i wont go through again nor make my children(if i ever have them) go through.

That's tough. What's the plan? I guess you could try saving up become an entrepreneur. My family members run their businesses, some do better than I do. Running their own restaurants, real state companies, construction companies. They've done all this without DACA. Maybe think about opening up your own hotel?

My parents can retire rn and they are in their 40s but rather not bother them, they can even pay me a full ride to college but i feel like my mom has had enough and deserves to spend her hard earned money on herself and my baby sister. At least they are set and i dont have to worry on those terms

If DACA gets fixed all my problems would basically dissapear.
