Very well thought out explanation on why it should stay

I read opinion. Had SCOTUS ruled in Trump's favor, I tthink Scotus would have ordered that USCIS stop processing applications immediately. Roberts acknowledges dissenters think program is illegal and everything under it must cease immediately. Holy fuck.

So basically we gained anywhere from 3 to 5 years more.

It took 3 1/2 to get to this point since it was announced to get killed, now the admin has to do it all again. By then after reelection he can just pass whatever to fix us and just claim victory. This is what he wanted, as tweets showed he blamed SCOTUS for this. This could of have also been a move by the conservative SCOTUS to shift the blame of the death of DACA from Trump and help him get reelected.

He can now ride on the "I tried to kill DACA, it wasnt my fault it was SCOTUS i will kill it when im reelected"

Im not celebrating at all to be honest, we had more chances of getting fixed with this once and for all if the urgency appeared.

Now we are back at square one.

Locked in a bird cage for life. Reality is that they will never be able to negotiate something reasonable to help us. We have to take matter into our own hands and get married. Otherwise we will be DACers for life.
