DACA is one of the easiest, least controversial, lowest hanging fruit on the immigration tree. Let's stay hopeful.

I just don’t see how a huge immigration bill is going to pass even if he were to have a slim majority. It would be a waste of time to work on an unrealistic immigration bill that has no chance of becoming law.

A piecemeal approach has the same chances of passing as any other immigration meal, as much as dreamers try to differentiate themselves they're in the same boat as the other 11million that brought them here

Don't be like the Florida Cubans that voted for Trump!

It really doesn’t though, otherwise everyone would have had a similar deal like DACA.

Daca has a chance to pass because it has bipartisan support among voters and the branches of government. It needs to be paired with some republican priorities in order to pass. They are willing to deal, we have seen that, but the asking price under Trump was too high.

Legalizing 11 million people all at once will never pass, it would put an enormous strain on the system. I feel dems know that and do not make serious attempts to pass a bill.

I hope this election put the Dems in check... Millions of Hispanic voters went over to Trump and the republican party. I think after this election the GOP will be more willing to deal because now they know they can actually win the Hispanic vote.

Cocaine Mitch does not have a problem with immigrants, his wife is from Taiwan. A good deal can be brought to the floor.

Agreed.

We are not "better" than other immigrants. We're just less controversial when it comes to granting benefits to.

DACA has absolutely zero chance w/a GOP controlled senate and Mitch at the helm. Their only chance is to stick it as a poison pill in a 2nd COVID relief bill.
