“This bill was not designed to get to 60,” said a person close to the White House who was briefed on the bill. “There’s no pathway to 60.”

They voted not to convict trump for their own self-interest, regaining the majority, and staying in office. Politics is amoral. They will vote yes if it helps themselves.

I trust a politician to always do what's in their own best interest. The question is now how to make their interest and an immigration yes vote coincide. This bill may be difficult to do that but maybe the dream act can.

They need to keep everything separate, if they do we might have a microscopic chance.

To be fair, this impeachment was the most bipartisan in US history. I do think we can pick up some Republican votes but not enough to 60 of course. With that being said, some Democrats in vulnerable states will probably hold on voting for DACA as well.

Should be interesting how this plays out.

Didn't read the part that made most of it DOA af lmaooo

Anybody here before jan 2021 gets papers? Dafuq is that sht? Only people with like 10 years here and the farm workers should be the only ones to qualify this sht gonna trigger the caravans.

, i have worked for large fortune 500s which rely HEAVILY on the illegals. Legalizing them will screw them up big time. Plus you got the minimum wage issue, IF they go ahead and raise it at the federal level AND Legalize the illegals this is going to mess up the job market big time... jesus christ the economy might turn to sht soon with all this. Brace for impact.

I have a feeling that the more ppl get to benefit from these bills the less chance it has to pass.....just my 2 cents.
