Im not saying TPS people shouldn't get fixed, each situation has to be treated separately to create a solution specific to it.

Farmworkers need their own solution.

Parents of DACAs need their own solution.

Refugees need their own solution.

The 11 million need their own solution.

Obtaining only ONE out of those will give the democrats the momentum they want for other bills.

Politics is a nightmare, its basically my career to play this sort of crap.

It's the correct strategy on the House side (they can pass bills without GOP votes) to start with a more liberal bill. This way when the Senate takes it up, there are items in there that can be removed or revised in order to get to the 60 votes. If TPS is the reason a GOP Senator will not vote for the bill, they will be given the chance to voice that.
