the hard part is not spending the money but figuring out how to pay for it. Taxes alone are not going to cut it.

Same way we paid for Afghanistan and Iraq. What, do you think conservatives will admit they just pulled the money for that out of thin air?

Biggest disaster this administration has ever done this year. I can't still get over with what Biden did in Afghanistan.

What did he do? People concentrating on last 2 weeks when America's been there for 20 years for some unknown reason. They're finally pulling out after $2.5T and 2,500 US lives.

Get ready for a republican in 2024. Dems are done for, especially biden/kamala or anyone remotely associated with their camp.

100% correct. House dems have already privately acknowledge that they will lose the house in 2022. The border + Afghanistan is too much to withstand. I am honestly expecting a 40+ seat flip. I think the senate most likely will flip red as well. The GOP has done a good job with destroying the biden administration.

..... maybe if dems would pass some immigration, they may get some new voters

It's way too early to make broad predictions like this.

This was an article from politico where dems acknowledge that republican will take back the house in 2022 off the record.

And that may happen, but there's a full year before the elections, which in politics is a lifetime. So to say Biden and all Democrats associated with his administration are doomed is fearmongering at this point.

Only one to blame here is the President himself.

Biden has done a good job with destroying his administration. He ignored the border crisis, he had absolutely no plan for that. His best weapon to fight COVID was bringing in Olivia Rodrigo. He had no interest of ending the filibuster or calling out Sinema and Machin by name and holding them accountable for stopping his agenda.

He has done nothing at all for the economy or try to at least look for bandaids for the way inflation has risen, and he has a Vice President that all she does is laugh when asked about a serious matter. The cherry on the top was his handling of Afghanistan.

I never thought Biden's presidency would end so soon like this but all the signs are there. Unless the filibuster is abolish, nothing weil get done and the GOP will take back the House and potentially the Senate. Leaving Biden with absolutely no power whatsoever.
