As much as I’m thankful for DACA. DACA was more of a Harry Reid thing than Obama. It was Senator Reid that pushed Obama to make DACA happen after the DA failed in the Senate and the Democrats lost the majority.

In fact, the White House had pushed back against Harry Reid and DACA because of concerns that it was politically infeasible in the midst of a bitter campaign.

After Reid retired, Obama left us in the back burner again. So even though Obama did sign the executive order, it was Harry Reid that got it done, not Obama.

I've been making excuses for Democrats a lot over the years but come on, they've gotta be tougher than this.

Since they can’t get anything real done why don’t they add something to remove the 10yr ban. Add a fee so that it qualifies for reconciliation and voilà some of us can GTFO of here and move on.
