So when Green Card and Citizenship was on the line they didn't want to overturn her. But now when Daca for 5(2) years on the line they want to overturn her. Lmao.

Lol right. All along they wanted to follow the “rules” and only now they want to get adventurous for crap worthy plan C. If our fates weren’t dependent on these clowns decisions, all this shit show would be comical.

According to @NILC , this is what overruling the parliamentarian in the Senate would look like.

They'd need 41 Dems to back the move, but still 50 + Harris to pass the bill. It's far from clear whether Sinema/Manchin would vote for a bill not in line w/ parliamentarian's advice.

As long as we got Durbin and his big signages of Dream Act prospects, something shall pass... Eventually.

If they overturn her, can’t they go back to plan A?

I suspect they make these sounds in order to apply some pressure on the parliamentarian - which seems like somewhat of a weak tea- but also because they genuinely want to pass something and they are looking into this alternative. I doubt they go back to plan A.

I am kinda tempted to dig up and bump up my "Countdown to Dec 31st, 2099" thread.

The situation is almost satirical at this point. Majority in the house and senate, and someone who can sign a bill, and no spine to pass anything meaningful.
