And trust me, prolonged anxiety of not knowing what's going to happen to you in the next five to ten years is scary. Every time someone asks me "where do you see yourself in the next 5-10 years" I legit get panick attacks because I don't have an answer for it. I understand a lot of you are young and willing to take this since there's probably another 10 years left for you. Trust me I was there and nothing changed. The battle never ends when a permanent solution isn't provided! I hope you guys think about it carefully as your futures are riding on this.
Agree. Time is precious.

I just think it's a better option to strategically position ourselves for a better, long term solution and not just accept whatever they are willing to throw at us.

Yes we will be begging for Bridge when it gets closer.
Cuz we are that desperate.

I think nobody is on board with temporary relief, as many of you have pointed out, it only kicks the can down the road.

However, beggars can't be choosers. A lot of people will take whatever we can get, as we have bills and families to take care of. GC and citizenship sounds great but we have no room to be demanding.

I don't know about you guys, but I can't watch DREAM Act fail again. Some of us older DREAMers want off this ride and if it means taking BRIDGE in the interim until the Democrats can win back Congress AND the presidency (so we get CIR), then so be it.

I give you 3 more years and now sit back into your cage.
Come see me after you get 3 years older.

I look at the benefits . It will keep me on check, out of trouble.

I don't want my impulsiveness to take over. If I were born here I'd probably had a bad record or be locked up already.

Not long ago our president was a Dem and house was occupied mostly by dems. Did they pass anything for us? Exactly, nothing. What makes you think they will do something in 2020? Even right now they only support us by words and won't compromise.

3 years is a lot of time to better yourself, not necessarily sit back on a cage, open up a business, save money, marry, whatever, but people are not going to sit back on a cage.
