Yeah, I'm seeing lags in updates on Case Tracker. Are you also seeing ELIS to track?

Seeing as today is the last business day until September 5th:

1) I'm officially 7 months since my priority date of March 2nd
2) 6 months since the "Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview" update from April 5th.

The wait continues... SF field office back-log must be really taking a toll on a lot of Bay Area applicants. Sigh.

I'm in NYC so I feel your pain. I submitted everything in November 2016 and the NYC office is working on July 2nd 2016. So for me it doesn't even say case ready to be scheduled. We just got to sit tight and wait this out.

I think your math might be off. You're at 6 months, not 7. My local office took 8 months for mine. Hang tight. It will come!! I woke up one morning and saw the email.

My status never changed to "ready to be scheduled". It went straight from "Case received" to scheduled. With that long of a wait and no RFE, I'm sure your case is ready to be scheduled.

Oh yea, I am 1 month off. So, 6 months since PD and 5 months since "ready to schedule." And yea, I will hold tight, seeing as all this DACA news is full of covfefe.

Does anyone know why some people's AOS takes forever when others are done in like six months? Disregarding issues like RFE or the time it takes to get AP. Is it just a regional thing? I'm a b-2 overstay with daca about to file very soon. My DACA expires early August 2018 and considering we don't know what's going to happen with DACA, I'm worried I'll be caught inbetween without work authorization. Also just worried it will take a full year.

ETA2: Did some searching.. I guess it just takes forever in new york

Yeah the timing is up to your field office. Make sure to apply for the work permit when you file your AOS, that way there is no lapse.

Offices assigned to immigrant heavy areas will always take longer. So yeah, new York will take a while. But apply for the work permit through the AOS application. It's free and can be renewed for free until a decision is made on your case. If you want to, you can also apply for AP with the aos application also. You don't need a reason or time frames for this one. I think you'll be ok without renewing your DACA for August of next year (If DACA is still around), as you're allowed to stay until your case is either approved or denied. But you can always make that decision once your renewal window come closer.
