Just wanted to give everyone a update on my AOS. Im Ewi and fixed with AP and married to USC. Self filed and sent to Chicago, I'm in the Dallas Area. MY PD is Aug 16th. Got my Biometrics Date for 9/15 but try to do a walk in on Tuesday. So far its been moving pretty good compared to other peeps. I know its not the same for everyone but i hope with everything going on we still have a chance. I will keep and eye for the next letter for my appoinment with an agent. Lastly a question for anyone who knows this. If Daca gets cancelled will we still be okay to process or will it get shot down too?

You're a bit off, the current timeline that says July 2nd is valid as of June 30th. So if you add 2 months now that it's September, they're likely working on September cases also.. so basically about 12 months out from your PD. I'm in NYC and got 'ready to be scheduled' back in May, my PD is in March

My DACA expires early August 2018 and considering we don't know what's going to happen with DACA, I'm worried I'll be caught inbetween without work authorization. Also just worried it will take a full year.
If you file for EAD along with your AOS application (no addl fee) it should be approved within 90 days or so from your PD, so even if it takes a year for the field office to schedule the interview, you'll have employment authorization during that time. And you can have a valid DACA EAD and also AOS EAD, since they're different categories, but the AOS EAD is free and you can keep renewing it as long as your AOS application is pending. I'm in NYC, got AOS EAD approved in july

If you have a pending AOS case, you should be fine.

i have been thinking about this a lot recently, and i cannot find any concrete answers. but my guess is that adjusting status would not be an issue, simply because AOS through marriage to a USC is a path to residency/citizenship independent of DACA. that is, people without DACA have done this for years, so i do not think you need to worry.

to all whose AOS cases are pending: be patient. i know it is hard, especially given what is going, but remain calm. if you read through this thread, you will see some of us waited for more than 6 months to complete the process. my case was pretty messed up timeline-wise and even came with a call from the USCIS officer after my interview where he said he had "made a mistake" regarding my biometrics and that i actually was not accepted yet.

i know how important this is, but please remain calm and do not lose hope.

btw, PSA: if you are DACA to AOS and you move, do not forget to notify USCIS like i did.

So, given the recent news I need some information and/or guidance to AOS.
I am currently under DACA, married to my USC husband for over 9 months. We have been together for close to 7 years.
I have proof and evidence from the date we met to now. I came to the US when I was 6yrs EWI, and have been living here since then. Ive had DACA for 4 years and have traveled to MEXICO under AP.

Given the new circumstances what are the forms, evidence, and necessary documents that I would need to submit my AOS asap.
I know a few forms I need but not sure about everything else.
Can anyone shed some light and information for me. I have a clean record no criminal background. no orders for deportation.
CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN haha

Any help would be appreciated. If you can DM me that would be great!

THANK YOU IN ADVANCED!

I have not done my bio. It is scheduled for 9/5. I would have attempted a walk in if it wasnt for the simple fact that the office they are sending me to is 1 hr away from home >:v
