Is it recommended to adjust through USC marriage if you entered EWI and never received approval on an AP to clear the EWI?

I am a petitioner on a U Visa that is processing right now, I should get on the wait list sometime next year. Lets say I AOS through marriage what will happen to the U Visa application? My family is in the U Visa as well but I don't want the U Visa getting tossed out because I am AOS or because I received a green card by the time they look at the U Visa application.

I'm looking at Part 1 questions 15-24.

Thank you!!!

My application was not this involved at all! It's crazy that they changed the AOS application so much. Sorry I can be of no help here. I highly suggest getting legal advise since you don't want to incriminate yourself.

Yeah I can see that, people please make sure your marriage/relationship is really bonafide, you don't wanna commit marriage fraud that will lead to you being permanently banned from the US. There is no waiver for marriage fraud! You'll never be able to come back into the US EVER if they find that your marriage is a shame/fraud! Please seek a immigration lawyer to review your cases before submitting your papers.

Does anyone have pending AOS and whose DACA expired recently? Mine expired in August, I know everything should work out with AOS once my interview comes up, but part of me is thinking about submitting a daca renewal before Oct 5 deadline ..

It really depends on your case and circumstances. it would have been recommended if you had been able to do AP, but now the only option is to do an i-601 waiver, so you'll want to consult an attorney about it, basically comes down to if you can prove extreme hardship to your spouse if you're forced to leave

It would simply over ride your application if you have an approved residency. There would be no point for USCIS to continue an application if you are a resident.

It was SOO involved.

Took a week an a half to finish. With 3 days of intense filling out, and printing, and copying.

are you done filling it out? that is good news! hopefully you will be able to share your knowledge with others as i think most of us used the old form.

also, my brother finally got back to me - he let me know that the first section is in regards to your passport, and that you can leave blank anything that does not apply to you (like the line asking about the Travel Document).

he said the section right after is for your AP document.

Thanks a mill!

Put passport info, skipped Travel Document, and continued to next part I-94.

I will post the details of all my bumps in the application as well as all documentation. Meantime... read all of the instruction sections pertaining to your forms! No one can do the work for you!
