Hello,

I know its crazy and many of us have waited for months, some for more than a year.

The past few days have been bad for the government because many people from USCIS, Customs, and BP didn't go to work. Many simply didn't believe the gov. would pay them later for the days they worked.

In other words many cases were not touched during the past few weeks. Starting today you should see that responses will come much sooner.

Service Request are good, but the few people that actually went to work have been under tons of stress trying to get work done while wondering if their job was safe or not. Some of the ones that stayed at home were dissapointed because they felt betrayed by the very gov. they worked for.

Many of them during the past two weeks, believe or not, felt just like us, with no hope and a great sense of loss. Now that they are going back to work some will show us sympathy because during this time they felt what some of us have been dealing with for many many years.

Give them a chance and sooner or later they will APPROVE your case.

PLEASE DON'T LOOSE FAITH!!! BREATHHHHHH, CONCENTRATE, PRAYYYYYYY!!!

BELIEVE IN AMERICA!!! BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!!

Some of the cases, especially Alexander's, have been in process way before the shutdown, so it has nothing to do with it. Yes, approvals might have been slowed, but they didn't stop, and most didn't even stopped working.

No one is betrayed by the government, and if they do, THEY should feel bad that THEY didn't vote (or try to get people to vote) for the 'right' people.

Oh, and no, they do NOT feel like us. They can lose a job and find another, they can do as they please, they're USC, we are NOT. I know you want too have sympathy for federal workers, but it doesn't work that way for me. Tell Alexander that he should be patient, that the dream that he was given when DACA was announced, is shared by USC...no.

Hubby's EAD was approved today, DACA on 9/30! However, I find it LUDICROUS and COMPLETELY BACKWARDS that the people who sent their apps in earlier haven't been approved yet! I find no rhyme or reason to explain it, and I wish they could provide more insight as to why in the French toast your cases are taking so long!!! -_-; I wish you all the best on this journey, but I find that your struggle is complete bullshit and should not be happening! Did they switch over to a new computer system and lose all your stuff? (Like the CA unemployment department did recently, but that's a different story) but I mean faaaack, at least if that happened there'd surely be a process to sort it out by now???!! We need a Colbert Bump for this

Dude are you serious about that little part about them feeling like us. Buddy let me tell you while they are having a wonderful life everyone on this blog is waiting for life to begin. They got a couple of days off and returned to work, but we are all in a nightmare waiting to wake up. Trust me man I'm one of the members of the over one year club that waited. The only USC that can feel how we feel is those who have been in our shoes.

I completeley agree with you. I am almost to the one year makr and still not approved. I never imagined that i would be waiting for a year! Its ridiculous how long they take for some cases.

So according to my attorney they are processing cases with criminal records seperatley. He said that the ones with any kind of record are being processed slower, of course. However he said that he spoke with them and that they are working on cases up to Nov 15th 2012 for those who have any kind of record. and the wait continues. Im almost to the 1 year mark!
