I concur. If there was a time for Congress to act, it surely is now. Congress can't just push this issue aside for three years because we know for sure by that time their solution to the problem would be to grant an extension.

Naturally, if nothing were to happen in these next six months, then we should hope the BRIDGE Act is passed into law. However, this should not be this the first step Congress takes, a path to legal status is the ideal solution.

The bridge act is enough, anyone asking for more is delusional and has no idea how politics work.

Bridge act would potentially become a weapon for Republicans down the line once a renewal is needed to keep it alive. I hope they are smart.

I mean obviously everyone wants a GC, but seeing how this is being played out, I rather have Bridge than nothing. Maybe in 3 years Trump won't even be here, who knows.
