Hey DACA fam! We had our interview yesterday at the SF office. My husband and I arrived about 30 mins early to get through the line (btw, hella long) and check in. Our lawyer met us there, and the actual interview started about 15-20 mins later than the scheduled time.

Finally the officer called our name and brought us back. She was super chill and only asked us about how we met, how we got engaged, and some biographical info. She did look at our wedding album and also reviewed some recent pics of our first year of marriage and then said she was "convinced" with the support we provided her. She didn't explicitly state we were approved on the spot, but she said she will ensure my married name will be printed on the green card since we filed all paper work in my maiden name (I hadn't changed my name at the point of filing). After that, she walked us out and mentioned final decision will be made within 30 days, and then said Congrats as she opened the door... So I guess that is good? Our lawyer said it was!

Anyway, a weight has been lifted and I'm just happy it's over! Hope to get an update soon that we were officially approved. Good luck everyone!

Glad to hear of your positive interview experience. Hopefully, you are given even more good news in the form of a welcome letter.

They only care about the last one. Although, they may still ask about your initial entry.
