Got my receipts yesterday. Apparently my lawyer didn’t send it until like 2 weeks after we signed.

finally got my EAD, it was approved 7/12/17 but received it 11/07/17. I did have to make multiple service requests. Sadly the expiration is 7/12/18. Still a good thing bc my DACA expired this August.

At least it's something. Plus it's renewable for free until a decision is made on your case. So it's a win-win for you!

Hi everyone, I just received my I-797 Approval Notice of my I-485 last week. I should be receiving my 10 years GC soon since I am married for over 2 years now.

My interview was on July of this year at NYC Field Office. The interview went well but took me this long because I received 2 RFE after the interview. It sucks but what could we do. The first RFE was for an original disposition, I drove without a license when I was 15, I know that was really stupid of me. Then another RFE for a new medical since it already expired. After a month of sending my medical, they finally approved my case! YAY!!!

That is one of my larger concerns for AOS. If the process takes close to a year you have to pay for another I-693 medical.

Still, Congrats on being approved and winning your dream!

I’m going thru the same thing you went thru. I had my interview in November. A few days later got an RFE for original court disposition document regarding a case in which all criminal charges were dismissed. I sent the requested documents in a couple of weeks ago but have yet to receive anything. No updates on the case since I had the interview in November. Case status still shows Interview is Scheduled.

Thank you! What state are you from? NYC is one of the busiest office, takes almost a year to be scheduled for an interview. My doctor told me a lot of his patients redo their medical because of this delay. I only paid her $60 to redo my medical. The doctor only did the flu shot and blood test since I just did it last year.
