Then you will have your adjustment here locally. There is no technical issue I can see they may bring up. Coming back as a minor is no issue concerning the immigration bars as they were never triggered.

It is really just the waiting game at this point. I would suggest applying for AP if your I-485 has been filed and possibly an EAD because both are free and you would have the ability to travel if need be.

I didnt renew daca last year and cut it very close. Applied for AOS in march, got my AOS EAD approved in July, daca expired in august. But i actually didnt get the EAD card until November. it was their error but still i was freaking out a little bit
Hope you get your interview soon! My EAD card is actually good for a couple months after my PD but I might be a month or two without DACA protection.. or wait. This may be a dumbass question, but since DACA was repealed, does that mean we are all without deportation protection? I thought it was based on your EAD expiration? Sorry, hope I'm making sense.

Technically, that would be a permanent bar after you left in 2001 and came back in 2004 while the 10 year bar was active. You require a lawyer!

Damn. That's long. Did you get your EAD about 3 months into the process? Want to see if we have a similar timeline?

Nice, it seems you are ahead of the game then. It is just a matter of time.

On mine, just received an update text from USCIS.

I didn't apply for my 485, but I would imagine that you should get an EAD in around 3 months. Other NYC applicants here had their interview in about 10-12 months, but that was last year. Maybe the office is busier now after a rush of adjustment applications...

You only applied for I-130?

I did the same and my I-130 was approved by Nebraska on the 260th day. No interview. I-485 still pending as insent them separately.

260 days? that's almost 9 months, I-130 seem to take longer and longer. I don't have much time before my DACA expires.

EAD gets approved and sent within 3 months of application submission, right? I'm trying to see how much time I have to plan and take care of this, I expire next January.
