Yeah, thoroughly confused here too. Why would they give you an ead that won't be viable for another full year? That means that for 8 mos, you can't work if your current ead expires in January.

I hope dreamers are renewing as soon as they possibly can because with Kavanaugh officially confirmed, you can bet that they are coming for DACA.

Not mine my dude.. still have the same status, did my bio on March of this year i think the 6th, but I do expire like the 19th so we'll wait. To think that our month came up just as Kavanaugh is confirmed... Thank god.

When are they expected to move the DACA case to the supreme court?

My current DACA expires on Sept 2019. Submitted my renewal in July 2018 and did the bio on Aug 6th, 2018 . I have been waiting since then . Does USCIS really approving the application in the order of expiration date ?

Start worrying summer of next year. Meanwhile relax.

I expire 2/21/19 and had my biometrics today. I walked out and got 5 texts saying my status was updated, so I checked and it says my EAD is under initial review... I guess it's just a waiting game now?

Guys I got approved Oct 2!
No notices/text/emails. I randomly checked the PO Box on Sunday and had a letter from them. Today I received my EAD. Here’s my info:

Expiration: 3/2/19
Application Sent: Beginning of May
Biometrics: End of May
Approval: First week of October
