Usually, I read somewhere that bringing/having your own children is strong evidence of a bona fide marriage. As long as the immigration officer didn't request more info/paperwork, I'd say you are in the clear! Took me a week to get my GC, so be on a lookout sooner than 30 days.

Yeah she said she would look into since I presented new evidence. And she also said let’s corrext your new address so you get your green card. And she didn’t ask for anymore paperwork.

About the bank stuff, so my husband tried to add me in his USAA bank account but he couldn't as it requires a permanent resident card. We already have a joint account because I added him to my bank but the money there is not a lot as I only work part time. Anyways, what should I do?? I'm planning on submitting my bank statement along with his USAA but unfortunately we couldn't do that. So, should he write a letter explaining that once I get a green card that he will add me to his account?? Should he send his bank statement?? I'm really not sure what to do.

don't worry too much about that, so long as you have the bank account with both of your names on it thats good. But having an account with both of your names on it shouldn't be end the of it, there should be some activities on it such as grocery shopping, if you guys use uber, or anything to suggest it is being used by both of you. Good luck.

Ok thanks for the reply. Also anyone has issues with health insurance?? My husband is a cop and he just added me to his insurance. So I didn't do my last name change yet as I was going to do that with my AOS application. When he included me, he used my maiden name. When I change my name, I'm planning on not including my maiden name at all so it'll be his last name. My overall question is, did any of you have a hard time updating your last name with your spouse insurance?? I'm stressing out because it'll be a lot of W prk notifying the HR and they might even say to wait until open enrollment to update the name.

Have you tried like car insurance too? I added my wife to my policy and she co-signed with me on a car loan.

I wouldn't worry too much about changing/updating your name on your husband's insurance when the time comes. It's simply a matter of notifying the insurance company of the change for them to send you new insurance cards, you shouldn't have to wait until open enrollment to update your biographic information.

You're right. Sound great! When do you think I should notify them?? When I get my new EAD with my marriage last name or when I get the GC?? Just want your opinion thanks.
