Biden's interview on CNN. He commits to sending an immigration bill on day 1 but he also says that it won't necessarily be taken up right away. I take that as that immigration bill will be in the congress but it won't get voted on as a priority.

Thanks
Need to pressure Schumer and Pelosi.

Lindsey Graham
John Hoeven

--EDIT--

Thom Tillis
James Lankford
I think Marco Rubio and John Cornyn can be brought on board too. Point is, I really think these GOP Senators now realize how much backlash their party is facing, especially seeing how they lost those Georgia seats. They may soften up a bit and be open to striking a deal. Our biggest enemy will be Ted Cruz.

Thing is that I doubt these Republicans will push for the wall and all the other poison pills that Miller pushed for. Trump came across as more inflexible on what he wanted, especially the wall.

So, I think there might be a better chance of a deal with Trump out of the way. I doubt a clean Dream Act can make it through.

I think all eyes are on the senate, Pelosi was able to pass a clean DA even with trump being the president so she can do it, Biden would off-course approve it so the only poison pills would be from the 10 or so republican senators.

I am hoping Schumer learned his lesson and make this priority. I am glad Biden won, but we cannot let them get complacent. Not good.

After surviving Trump and seeing how many ppl supported him, I do not underestimate the threat of a Ted Cruz for 2024.

I'm also afraid that the dems are going to play the victim again and blame the republican senators for not being able to pass anything and use that rhetoric again in hopes to gain more seats in 2022. Biden is also not to a fan of using the nuclear option. Schumer seems embolden though, we just said things like: "fasten your seats" and "bold changes are coming" so there is a bit of hope there.
