Was never asked for anything additional.
Speaking of only providing what the instructions ask for did you provide any pictures of the two of you as evidence with your application?

No I did not because we happened to have at least one form of evidence for each section of evidence requested. We however took a photo album with pictures ranging from when we were dating to when we got married to outings and a trip we took after we had gotten married. The interviewing officer ended up asking us who the people in the pictures were and asked us to select about 5 pictures that we wanted her to have which she placed in our file.

True, USCIS plays by their own rules and can adhere to, or ignore what they want when they want.

Also I found this regarding the EAD's, so you are indeed correct.

Nice, glad to have some clarification on the issue. Still, like you said USCIS will still accept and process the application accordingly. USCIS has NOT rejected my application simply because renewal was used, and apparently neither has yours.

Submitted my I-130 alone (EWI) back in October. Any one have any insight on how long this takes?

On October 30, 2017, we received your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number SRCxxx, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by November 29, 2017, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I submitted my I-130 in December 2016. I'm still waiting for an interview...I've submitted three service requests, called NCSC, and had an immigration lawyer friend email the local USCIS office. Last year the wait was 10-12 months. I've been waiting 14 months.

Are these for consular processing? VisaJourney has some good timelines and processing date references.

In short, no, this is not for consular processing.

I was admitted into the US (so immediately eligible to adjust) but have an immigration case pending. The case was administratively closed after DACA. After approval of the I-130, I would need to terminate the case before I could file the 485 with USCIS.

Your crazy if you submitted I-130 with an EWI. From what I know you can be barred for 10 years. Good luck though.
