Yeah might as well. There's no point in unnecessarily checking the status. What are you going to do after getting the work permit? You're going to be waiting even more. You will wait first 10 days before going to the social security office. Then you'll wait like 2-3 weeks to get the social. You can't do shit without the SSN. I'm just wiating for approval so I can throw a huge party at my crib and buy sweets for everybody.

Offtopic question (Sorry), why do some members say Member under their name, Some Junior Member, and some Senior Member. I would assume the lenghts of time they been on or # of post, but some relatively new members with one post are junior or senior. just thinking out loud....

YEs, that's normal! Yesterday, I got the same text at 2:00pm! Checked my other one and Still in initial review. Later on at 7:15pm I got a notice that my 821-d had been approved!

Crazy how they play with our emotions! lol

Yea .. thank you.. I am just so happy that I will be getting my work permit soon... I hope everyone gets approved !!!!
