I just got approved today 9/16/2013 after receiving a RFE. I was notified through text! Good God I feel great!! My card is currently in production. Praise the Lord!!

Got the dreaded rfe. I am anxiously waiting for it to come by .

I got one too, but hasn't arrived. Do you have an idea why you got one?

The Dreaded RFE Update:

This RFE was completely arbitrary.

My lawyer called me today to update me on my RFE. Basically, they said that I didn't include a copy of my high school diploma and they are asking for proof of whether i'm currently enrolled in college since my latest college course ended in may '13.

I made sure to include a copy of my HS diploma with my paperwork. It was one of the first papers going to the pile of evidence. They goofed up and lost the papers so they're covering their butts and blaming me for their sloppy work and saying I've never sent it.

Now, I am not currently enrolled in college. I just can't afford it. My money ran out and these bastards are playing games with my life. I fit squarely into the DACA education requirements. HS grad and with college credits. Yet, they want to give me grief. To tell you the truth , I get the feeling that some of the people working on those DACA applications are not even familiar with the DACA requirements.


I am baffled at their incompetence. I seriously advise all of you to be very wary of them pulling the same stunt on your cases.
I wouldn't be surprised if they lost the papers of other RFE people. Seriously, I strongly advise you to call them. Call your lawyer. Fight this out and remember:

Our fate and our lives are in the hands of complete idiots.

Well at least you got a rfe letter not like other people that they just get denied w/o giving the chance to send more evidence. I UNDERSTAND YOUR ANGER BUT LOOK AT THE BRIGHT SIDE YOU WILL BE APPROVED WHEN YOU SEND YOUR HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA

Just wanted to share with everyone. Got an RFE on Friday the 13th. Reason was because I answered No to question 1 in Part 3. Have you ever been arrested for, charged with, or convicted of a felony or misdemeanor in the United States? Do not include minor traffic violations unless they were alcohol- or drugs-related. Do include incidents handled in juvenile court. I was a passenger in the vehicle and got arrested because they said I had a warrant. They filed the arrest under Fugitive Other Jurisdiction. Got the court disposition that stated the charges were driving without a valid license and plead guilty to it. They should be getting my paperwork today. Hopefully I get a response soon. Only reason I answered no was because it was traffic related but I guess the police officer that arrested me decided to book me under Fugitive.

FYI, it says in the paperwork they sent with your RFE that it must be mailed back in the envelope they provided you with the RFE notice on top otherwise it could delay them looking at it and making a decision your case.
