Is a there a comprehensive list of things we need to do to get the paper work ready? I was hoping the first post would have it, but it doesn't. I really don't want to go through 276 pages.

Haha. Many have been advocating to have a sticky with all the docs needed for AOS.
Take a look at the link below. It's from another site and I find the crowd on that site to be more responsive than people here. Good luck.

How do you know if you're grandfathered under 245i?

So it looks like I'm getting married with my USC lover.
My last entry was a legal entry but I've accrued illegal presence. I will file a 601 waiver through my dad who I support financially and emotionally.

I'm sure people have gone through this but what can I expect? Timelines?

Thanks!

If your last entry was a legal entry, then you do not need the 601 waiver for illegal presence, since you are adjusting via marriage to your us citizen spouse. You can just adjust with i485/i130. I'm almost 100% positive about that from everything I have read doing a lot of research, someone please chime in to agree or correct me if I am wrong.

Yeap. I came here legally, accrued illegal presence, did not have to file a waiver.

Hi guys, I recently got engaged to my long time USC girlfriend. I entered legally, and accrued 1.5 years of unlawful status before DACA.

We're planning a big wedding for next spring, but performing civil ceremony next month at the courthouse.

Are there any reasons to be worried if I submit for AOS right after the civil ceremony? Or would it raise suspicions?

I'd like to go out of the country for the honeymoon (next summer-ish), which is the reason why I want to file ASAP.

Do you have a prior removal order?

My fiancee and I will be doing the same next month. We're getting married at the courthouse and planning a a bigger wedding fall 2019. From what I hear, there should be no reason to worry going this route.
