Hey guys, question. Can you get married abroad in your native country and adjust status when you come back to the US? I’m saying im case advance parole comes back. My whole family is in Mexico and probably won’t be able to get visas.

If you intend to get back 10 years from your exit to Mexico then yes.

Once you leave the country you are banned for 10 years or 3 depending on the amount of your illegal stay.

By the way, very unlikely you can "come back" for the purpose of adjusting status.

You would have to apply for a green card outside the U.S once your ban expires.

Not with advance parole for DACA, the ban isn't triggered.

AP doesn't exist for DACA anymore.

Just get a civil ceremony here and straighten out your status first, and then go have a 'real' wedding in Mexico.

That's great. I'm hiring a (very reliable) lawyer to file the paperwork, and they too said it shouldn't be a problem.

They also said if we have the big wedding before the interview, we can bring photos from it to the interview.

AOS package sent early August of 2017.
No EAD approval until 5 months later after I made a service request, in January 2018.
Now I've been waiting, it's been 11 months from the sent date and 6 months from EAD approval.
I've been trying to follow this thread as close as I can, but recently haven't been able to so much.
But I saw that many of our members on here who had sent it around my time, have already been through the interview process or have gotten an interview letter already.

I'm trying to figure out first of all is this a normal timeline ?
Second, is there a service request I can send after a certain amount of time?
And lastly, do the approvals usually come in a certain time after the sent date or does it have to do more with the date of EAD approval? Please help in anyway that you can, thanks.

Hi everyone,

I'm filing an I-130 form for my husband. So, I've had several different jobs and 4 addresses in the past 5 years which they ask for items 12a-15b on part 2. On the additional information pages, for the page # put 2, part #2, and for item # do I put 12a? Do I have to literally list my street address, city, state and zip separately?

We can even have a mod pin it to the board.
I would post it so long as they don't close the thread and say "we already have a useless dumb dread over here"
