You were supposed to have received two I-797C Receipt letters in the mail before your Biometrics appointment letter.

One had your receipt number for the I-821D form and the other had the receipt number for the I-765 form.

There both the same number on both letters . When I enter it it just gives me the I-756 status

Are you sure? Usually it's only the last digit that is different.

If they are both the same you can call USCIS and ask them for your I-821D Receipt Number.

I subbed the last 5 numbers of the original Lin number and it gave me the i821d makes me wonder if its mine but it seems right the date is around when my lawyer sent it. Has anyone done it like that? Sub numbers

No that's something different.

It should start with the letters LIN and it should be the same number as your I-765 number but only the last digit is different, it will either be one digit up or one digit down.

So if your Receipt number for the I-765 form is LIN1234567895 the one for the I-821D form would be either LIN1234567896 or LIN1234567894
