That much is true but waiting on more specifics, active duty enlistees won't go to basic until fiscal year 2018, reserves might be the same but still unclear. These are just place holder dates though, need to wait on the exact details since they're still working through setting up the guidelines.

At least for reserve enlistees like me, the contract starts on the day I sign, so fortunately I'm already serving my contract even if it's delayed. At this rate I'll only end up serving half of what I signed for ;p

Didn't care much for OCS but no E-5 status for us then until after the first term, is that right? Kind of a bummer but not the end of the world, I doubt I'll reenlist once my 6 yrs is up.
