I was. My brother who's daca expires on 9/15 got approved two weeks ago. This is an awful experience to have to go through. I'm grateful for the approval but I seriously hope USCIS gets its shit together fast!

Hey vivace,

I travel from lax to Hawaii all the time with my California DL. Its acceptable Id for domestic travel. No need to bring your passport. (Unless you have a DL from one of the states that's requires a passport).

Day 14 still no EAD. Today I received another update that my EAD went into production on the 23rd. When I first received it on the 10th. I noticed on my ELIS account that my case is now closed does that mean they finally shipped my card?

Myaccount still forwards me to myuscis instead of the page with my info and the link to the new Elis. Can somebody post the link to it? Maybe I can sign on through that. Thank you and congrats. I still have 10 days till expiration. HR knows, I'll go into suspension for 90 days if I don't receive it on time. Hope I get it sooner than later. My app was received 4/18. Nebraskaso working on mine.

My concern is what if my renewal isn't approved in time? Is my DL still ok to use?

it expires at the same time your daca, right? At least here in NC it's the same. So no, expired DL is no good like expired tuna.

Well, my California DL expires on 05/19/2019, and my EAD expires on 09/04/2016.
