ok guys lets stop now... i understand we all got upset; its normal... but once someone told me "do what you have control over, fight as much as you can and try until you cant try anymore"... that is our job, so in the end we are better people and we don't say "oh why didn't i try more"... everyone here comes from a different background, but we share the same problem.

some look over their shoulder so they don't get caught, others like me have given up to pay for college b/c the lawyer needs money in order to "buy time", some of us help the family at home, etc.

we have to stay united. all i know is that we didn't have the choice to either come here or not, but we now have the choice to fight for this...

what is in our control, were gonna do it, everything else is up to this American nation.

p.s
there is no need to bann anyone...

Immigration is a hot potato in US. It is hard to deal with it especially when US is going through a recession. Obama and the congress need to save the economy before they do anything about immigration, health insurance reform, education, and etc. But it is a sad news... Some of us cant wait till next year and everyday, we are going through alot but let's not argue each other because theres no point of it. Instead, how about we focus on sending right information about the Dream act to the public? I just gave a short 3 min. speech about the dream act in my history class on thursday (thanks to my prof.) And I was surprised that many US citizen students had mis-informations about the dream act. I just hope I changed their views on the dream act and us 'dreamies'

I don't understand because if Dream Act or other CIR passes, the economy will regain slowly and eventually it will help our economy.

Goddamn, no offense but that's just fucking naive. Even if it is true, the whitehouse is not the deciding matter for senate votes.

Why don't you all stop being so emo over media speculations, "multiple officials?" oh come on.... Watch the Durbin video again and then make some calls.
^^ what he said

U.S. Citizens aren't misinformed, most of them are just racists who hate illegal immigrants.
