Reality check for you two. Coming here and making fun of each other for "not having a job" or trying to brag about "how good your job is" is like bragging about your new Mercedes to people who barely have something to eat.

Most of us can't get the type of job we deserve for obvious reasons; even worse, some of us can't even find a job at all. It is quite distasteful talking about this matter, and things only get worse when you: make fun of others for not having a job, or when you brag, or even hint, about how good your job is.

Both of you please grow up and show some respect, not to each other, but to all the DAP members who struggle every single day with a shitty job or the lack of one.

And what the fuck is a "pi-pi"? Is that the distant cousin of the "square root-square root"?

PS: Please refrain from using colons until you learn their proper usage okthnxbi

angeleno, I'm not going to fight over the internet.

I'm just going ask you to stop it with the "you don't have a job" jokes. Look, everyone reading this has had problems with getting a job, and making fun of one of them, is making fun of all of us.

I'm glad you were able to find a decent job, but please don't make fun of those who were not as lucky as you.

Now show the high level of maturity you have by not responding to this thread anymore.

2- that the bill doesn't come with any 'do or die' provisions like in the past. Basically most of us have been screwed in the past because of the bills being so broad and idealistic that nothing got passed. We may not LOVE all the requirements but learning English is probably easier than being deported if you ask me. Pretty much everything is better than going to a detention center.

3- that they DO get some bipartisan support. The 'Democratic' majority is bullshit because some of the biggest opponents of CIR are conservative Dems and not moderate Reps. Collins and Tester are in different parties - look where they stand. If they alienate Reps in the House they will lose support in the Senate. This has failed before exactly like that.

4- that the focus is on passage and not provisions. Nobody here can wait two years for a more refined version of the bill and its easier to iron out legislative issues through executive policy than sink a whole bill because the water wasn't the perfect temperature.

--------------------------

As I know the House this bill will likely be ridiculous and unacceptable to the Senate but I REALLY wholeheartedly hope that isn't the case. I don't see the Dems having the balls or wits to introduce a compromise bill so it's more likely they will introduce it stillborn. I would rather see a Schumer bill first and my only hope is that this isn't Gutierrez's re-election baby.
I totally agree. I do not need any medical care, any major federal programs except federal grant for college education [which the DREAM ACT promised]. I don't want these guys make any complicated decision, make them simple.

The best of all, let the students get before the parents. Sorry, I am self-fish but I have a higher earning potential than my parents, and with a solid grant from both federal and state level, I can have a decent life in college.

When the hell did I even bring up my own job?

The only reason you know I have a good job is because we used to talk in the chat. I didn't even tell him that I had a job so stop being a bitch and just STFU already.
