Like many of you I'm willing to pay whatever fine! I would just have to take a year off school, work my ass off and pay that ish!. But I'm afraid many of you are acting as if it is going to be passed.
Not to be pessimistic but there's still a long way to go and we have to be ready for whatever the future holds for us dreamies.

Actually, both matters. Before you move to Senate, you should make sure the introduction is well-written, majority-favor (American) and also marjoity-Republican favorable.

Some activists would like a free ride for every single undocumented person in the U.S.A. but this is just what red necks go ballistic about. I think a $500 fine is a joke, we should face stiffer penalties and qualification process if we really want this to gain some Republican support which is ESSENTIAL in the Senate.

I know that it might sound a bit selfish, after all some of us are better positioned to face such harsher penalties and requirements but we have to be realistic. We all should be aware that we need to prove red neck America that legalization would bring economic benefits and not burdens and to try to mitigate the "amnesty" aspects so they can see it as a truly earned path to legalization.

Guys, keep in mind that this is just what the bill looks like for now. By the time they're done with it, it will look more altered than Janice Dickinson's taint.

The reason Congressman Gutierrez crafted such a liberal bill is so that he has lots of leeway when it comes time for bargaining. The final version will NOT look like this since they'll probably be forced to add an amendment requiring us to pole dance to Hava Nagila (in 10-inch platforms) in order to get Lieberman's vote.

Now everyone take a deep breath.

Well, it is good to hear something for us FINALLY! Thank you for all the people who involve with and keep hard working for us. Just like everyone mind it. Bill seems too easy and I agree that it will change eventually. However, looks like process of dealing between Dem and Rep. They pass the ball to Rep with Dem's best possible answer then Rep will pass back with their best outcome. Probably back and forth time to time then hopely pass the bill somewhere around middle. for me it doen't matter ..... PLEASE PASS THE BILL WHATEVER IT TAKES!

Actually,I think they are trying to avoid this altogether.Hence why Schumer & Graham are working towards a concensus because they won't have time to do back & forth as politics become more sensitive as the year goes on closer to election time.

The Schumer-Graham immigration bill WILL be the "middle" & could most likely be the bill that would have a chance at both chambers of Congress.I think what we should do is watch out for any commentary from Senator Graham or Schumer at this point while looking for any immigration hearings or even floor time scheduled by Senator Reid.
