If they go for CIR, they won't go for DA alone since it's part of the package.

And nobody knows what's gonna happen if they don't go for CIR. We're hoping and praying that they get their heads right and bring up DA alone.

You already know Graham is the lone Rep from Senate that is in and Brown is considering it also because Obama called him. So most likely its a Yes from Brown.

I don't agree with this because in my opinion Graham supposedly support was just a politic tactic and now he is suppose to be mad and he keeps saying CIR cannot be presented this year + he support McCain ( That's his bf ) which would bring you to a conclusion that he will vote Nay.

Durbin said "If Democrats and Republicans come together, we can pass comprehensive immigration reform legislation, including the DREAM Act, in 2010" article written yesterday, and then he said "It's unlikely we'll get to it [CIR] this year" from another article written today, so he was like pushing for CIR yesterday and abnegated the idea today...is he trying to give up on CIR so he can really push for DA?

What you say is highly unlikely about him giving up on one thing to pursue another in the same category. Don't get me wrong if it's true, you are a completely awesome genius, and no I am not being sarcastic, so I hope you are right. But that would not make any sense, if that is what he is doing.

Maybe. Who knows... But If there isn't gonna be an attempt at CIR, we're hoping that they do DA now bc the votes are there.

I think it's 36 total. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. The 38 comes from the 37cosponsors + Senator Durbin. But since Kennedy and Martinez are no longer there, those two don't count.
