I hope what you are saying is true but I doubt it is. When they say science what they mean is something in a scientific field.

Wow, my department actually took me aside to lunch to talk to me about Grad school, but I would have to pay for it out of my pocket...
I guess I better apply now, I hope I get accepted to the Power side of electrical engineering masters >.<

I think I have like a 50/50 chance, because I only have like a 3.34 GPA at my university

Doesn't "fall under 245i" mean you can be undocumented?

Can I possibly benefit from this Act?
I am undocumented(visa overstay) and I came to US July, 2000.
I am currently pursuing masters in industrial engineering.

nobody will know until it goes to the Senate, the section where it talks about retaining grad students in STEM disciplines is really small in the bill if you read it...

It could possibly mean just keeping international students...etc.

however to fall under 245i, you must be undocumented in the US...it just means you are grandfathered, and don't have to leave the country to adjust?
