^ I cried because I was moved and I thought that finally things would change for us. And I was right, things did change. Not the change I was hoping (Arizona) for but change nonetheless.

I cried too when Obama became president. Actually a bit of me died because i knew that he would not push the DREAM or any immigration reform. He made a lot of promises... too much that there is no way he can actually do all of them. But seems to be the type that would say anything for a win, even more promises than the average politician. Not that fence hopper McCain was any better. I mean he sponsored a bill (DREAM Act '07) and walked off the floor just a FEW minutes before it was voted on. He likes to play both sides, and that is not good for a president. But with Obama I feel like he's not assertive enough.

I cried when obama.......oh wait, I'm a grown man, and not a pussy.

What sux is both acts that could get me papers are being held hostage. The dream act by CIR, and STEM by DREAM. Talk about getting nowhere. It would be kind of comical if I managed to get papers through STEM thanks to republicans....at least like i've said all alone they get shit done, for good or for worse.

There is always 245(i) but I haven't read any thing recent it seems to be very hush hush at the moment. The 245(i) would cover every one by paying a $1000 fine. It's a dirty temporary quick fix but it would give congress enough time to work on a CIR.

Why are some of you guys saying STEM is being held hostage by the dream act? There hasn't been any serious talks about STEM untill that immigrant poster started talking about it on here.
