What time on Thursday? When does Senate go on Vacation? Starting Monday?

starting friday evening It's highly unlikely that they'll work over the weekend

It has to be this week or after the 29th. The senate goes in recess for thanksgiving week.

After the 29th, Kirk is in? House is voting on the 29th.

I'll take Chessmasters word for it, i've seen him on here long enough to know he checks his sorces.

Hopefully reid does keep his word. Would be great if the senate would vote the day after the house. So obama can sign it starting december =D.

If everything goes like the bill says we'll know what to do half way through 2011. (the bill gives the department of homland security 180 days to get things set up, preventing fraud, etc.) the 2011 defense bill will probably include more funding for troops since I know a lot of us will be enlisting.

Can you start the paperwork before 180 days? When do you think the deadline will be from the start date?

I doubt it, we'll know more if it passes.
