I have been following the Dream Act bill since it was enacted in 2001 and CIR for many many years. I read a lot of articles that release so based on my research we actually have 60+ easily in the Senate to pass this bill. No problem!

I would not stop working though. Keep contacting the relevant Senators and lets make this happen.

DA was attached to DADT. 56 Dems voted YAY. Reid votes Nay so he can bring it up again, he was it would fail.

Democrats are desperate to win back Latino votes in 2012 so they need the votes and that means they must pass Dream Act as a piecemeal legistation.

Why do you think there are 2 new versions of the DA now? So they can compromise this with the Reps and get more Yays.
