"- Public schools will have to confirm students' legal residency status through birth certificates or sworn affidavits.
- Illegal immigrants are banned from attending state colleges. "

That's what's most alarming to me.

Nice analogy. Pat yourself on the back for that one.

Obama needs to try to act on CIR now. This is enough.

I wonder what many educators in Alabama think. Many are probably pissed off.

If any of you live in Alabama, get the f*** out. I recommend Illinois or other states that have opted out of Secure Communities. Sure, if you want to go to college, tuition will be high, but life will be much less difficult than in Alabama. F*** Alabama's GOP.

Is that not the same state where they officially made the number pi equal 3 instead of 3.14. Is that the same state where a while ago they where arguing against teaching evolution in schools?

"In 1996, the Alabama State Board of Education adopted a textbook sticker that was a disclaimer about evolution."

The most damning thing that I have read, not in this article have not read it yet, but in another one. They make it illegal to rent to undocumented immigrants, they also make it illegal to give a ride to an undocumented immigrant. That is right, if you are legal and give a ride to a person that happens to be undocumented you could get in trouble. Public schools would be required to give information on their undocumented students.

Trust me these old farts have no testicles...ever wonder why Sessions still to this date hasn't introduced a mass deportation bill? Isn't he completely against undocumented workers? Once a legalization bill is introduced, he will come out of his cave once again like a hyena. On the other hand you have Orrin Hatch who can back stab his own family to win an election. Our community should feel proud that these rich politicians and business owners who give very low wages are leeching off of us. The absolutely need us. First of all they need the workers in the Agriculture, Meat, Construction industries so that they can feed their families and keep those respective industries competitive in the economy They also need us educated individuals so they can continue winning elections every two years. Time to awaken the power lying beneath us...We need to pull off an Independence day...Use their greed against these politicians to win our right.
