health reform act? i used to pay $423 for my parents health insurance. upon the news of the reform it went up $100, the reform passed and i pay now $623. thank you obama. stimulus money i am sorry haven't seen a million in my lifetime, wondering how a trillion looks like. all that money washed away and half of it aig, etc ate all of it. obama did mention that he was going to get the money back etc, what happened? oh ya BP oil spill took him a week to take action and meanwhile we find out that BP donated a huge sum to obama's campaign. Here is the deal Money got him in the white house (google it, if someone cares....he was able to obtain more campaign money than Bush or any other president)....and now he has to return favors. He talked good...made sense...but he won't do a thing. Some kind of solution within 6 months? OPEN YOUR EYES

Eh, Obama's a figurehead. All presidents are. I would say that so far Obama has been an 'ok' figurehead since at his insistence various beneficial laws have been pushed through.

Yeah, he hasn't done much on immigration -- but really only because there's not much that he can do. Yes, deportations are up, but they're only up because congress keeps passing funding bills to increase funding for ICE to carry out their mission. You have realize that as president he is constrained by the constitution to execute (hence: executive branch) the laws passed by congress. He has some leeway in how the agency resources are allocated like the recent memo to take the focus off of undocumented students, but nevertheless ICE is an agency that exists to deport illegals. Obama simply cannot say "ok, stop the deportations" since that goes against the fundamental structure of the American government. If he did that, I imagine that even the Democrats would vote to impeach him since it violates the constitutional separation of powers clause.

Also, if you think Obama is bad, then you must not have looked at the current GOP presidential candidates. They make the hair on the back of my neck stand up when I think about one of them becoming the next president.

If you haven't noticed, the GOP controls the house and the Democrats in the Senate are facing opposition from the Tea Partiers who are staunchly anti-immigrant. That's who you should be angry -- the 535 congresscritters who vote on your and mine future.

Frankly I find it very amusing when illegals say things like "I won't support X or Y anymore!" because well.. you're not X or Y's constituents. We have no voting power or voice in how they carry out their job. All we can hope for is for the people in power to do something for us.

Are you fucking kidding me? To those of you criticizing the President: What would you think Romney would do for us? What about Bachmann? What about Palin?

If you continue to be uneducated about the issues that you are talking smack about you will only hurt our movement. If republicans win we will most likely be getting shot on the streets by rednecks who think they're in some kind of white supremacy army. Seriously. Already there have been laws aimed to keep the latino vote down and you are still talking smack about democrats. Listen, not because the majority of one party supports a bill, doesn't mean all the party will vote in favor. We are the Democrat's constituency and if we continue to talk like this "man fk obama he ain't did do sh^t" we will FAIL. Its time to get educated, grab a damn book and learn how politicians kept the black people from voting after the 13th amendment passed. Turn on the tv, and look at how republicans are keeping blacks, latinos, and students from voting.

The bill failed last year, but if Obama doesn't get re elected we are practically screwed. What is the solution you offer? If you don't like this country or don't feel part of it, then stop commenting stupid blabbering and get the hell out, you are only hurting our cause.

^^This.

Yes, I'm angry with him. Yes, I'm disappointed that DREAM Act hasn't passed. But, I'll take President Obama over ANY Republican candidate since they all seem to want to put us all on planes out of here.

I think most people are mad at the fact that Obama acts as if he is actively involved in passing the dream act. It's not like he is working hard or anything to get members of congress ( mostly republicans) to pass the dream act like he has done with some other issues.
