Age was never a big issue. It was only 30 in the lame duck session. If they are going to put 30 then at least add the Retroactive Provisions for someone already have a 4 year degree.

But he is proposing a non-immigrant visa. Look it up it doesn't let us work, drive, and a few other things. We would be visitors meaning we are expected to leave so why would we get to work? or have a driver's license? if we are just gonna leave. The only way visitors drive here is because they have licenses from their original country. I'm not saying we can't drive, but we won't get a driver's license here.

I understand how you see it as a solution and a fair compromise now, but in the future will we really be able to be residents? and if so how long will it take? when I'm 60 0r sooner? because I'm hoping for less than 10, but that is a dream within itself. And that's just to be a resident let alone finally being a citizen. How long should I wait for that?

I understand how you think this has a likelier chance of passing because it will ease concerns, but lets look at the facts. Who is voting for it? Not the public. The house and the senate. Democrats and Republicans for short. So how much do you think this will ease concerns. It actually raises mine. Research the immigration system as it is today. Do you really want to gamble your future on the hands of that system? Which Rubio deems "broken". Seems to me he is just pulling on your heart strings.

I believe we shouldn't be held responsible for what our parents did, and I also believe we should not be handed amnesty. Which the current DREAM act addresses perfectly. And if it fails again we have Rubio's proposal to fall back on, but don't make Rubio's alternative your primary. Make it your alternative too.

Dejalos que chinguen a su mauser.

They don't want relief...they want a fckn green card. I'm tired of asking for their support.

I'm just gonna focus on my MBA and if these guys wanna sit on their ass and play politics with politicians then let them.

I think this bill has a chance because Dems always give in and do what's best for people. Some of you are right in your political observations, but you still have to do SOMETHING to help the cause.

If you're not gonna help, then I suggest you stop posting discouraging notes.

I know we've been here before. However, this is the first time Reps are talking about the DA and that is huge. It might not pass this year, but it might pass soon.

It does not matter what kind of is it. It will be a NEW type of Visa that will let Dreamers work, drive and go to school.

By the way, right now, some states allow DL.

Yes, kevin, Rubio specifically stated that we will be able to work, drive, etc while we apply for legal residency. He also stated we will NOT have to leave the country. Now what the hell is your argument for opposing this?

I agree with Kingsam and DA User. It would be a nonimmigrant visa, but it would be a new kind.
