Let's say Rubio's bill fails this year and the house and senate pretty much remain controlled by the GOP and tequila party...

If Obama is re-elected (cuz I'm starting to doubt his chances), do you think he will provide us with some sort of relief through an executive order?

If so, would he do it this year, next year, 3rd year, last year of term?

Or will he and dems continue to milk the DA?

If the bill fails and Obama does not provide executive relief later in the year even after and if he is re-elected, I think many people are just going to say fuck it.

SHIT IS GETTING REALLY DIFFICULT NOW. EMPLOYERS ARE BECOMING REALLY STRICT. AND, WAITING WILL BE TOO RISKY.

Yeah I know...

If it doesn't pass this year and Obama does nothing for us by next year, I'm taking off.

Hopefully I'll have my MBA by the end of next year and enough money to start a new life in Mexico.

I know I'll be making shit in Mexico, but at least I'll be free. I will make an attempt to move to Canada, but I doubt they'll let me in.

Obama pretty much has his re-election locked plus Dems will take back the house and add more seats in the senate. It is a win-win for Dreamers.

I have no doubt that dream act is near though. Some form of it. I know it is hard for most of us to endure this. Most of us are in really fucked up circumstances, like not being able to pay for school, no in-state tuition etc...

This is the last soiree for the dream act, if this doesn't pass, then there will be a mass "self-deportation". Let us hope common sense gets realized in the halls of congress, but if not, then remember freedom lives everywhere. I'm excited to see this bill and to see if it's broad or limited in terms of strictness, or just a joke.

I feel like if Rubio's dream act fails, this dream act failure is going to be harder on everyone than all of the other ones because it included huge compromises and came from a Republican and was cosponsored by Republicans. But if the democrats filibuster Rubio, the GOP will filibuster the old dream act in revenge.
