19 year old DREAMers actually wouldn't be applicable for this bill. The pdf of the bill states that aliens "younger than 19" would be applicable for relief. Wow. Same for the 21 thing. You have to be under 21 with a voluntary departure notice before you turned 19 to be able to apply. I definitely don't apply, and I believe a vast majority of other DREAMers wouldn't either.

Guys, don't get worked up over this Bill, it is NOT going to pass. It's way too narrow to make a reasonable impact on immigration reform.

oh wow i only read the before 16 part but they still have the stupid under 19 clause? damm fuck these guys no wonder everyones mad i thought they got rid of that since it hasn't been mentioned in any of the recent articles, i agree with helwett on his post, this is why i tell you guys dont be so trusting of the GOP or any DA they have, they're the reason nothings been done to begin with, and not only with a nay, but by being the biggest pricks spreading rumors about us and getting people in general riled up about hating us

they vote in racists like JT Ready, Russell Pearce, and that new guy last week in PA, and just about every state legislature in the south and letting them spread their shit against us thru laws all cuz they don't wanna cater to minority voters and are 'afraid' that ppl won't like all the asshole moves theyve been pulling for years instead of maybe easing off on it, BOHNER was the one who said the GOP DA wouldn't pass, so believe me when i say its only an election year gimick to try and steal hispanics away from the Obama vote, not that i like how he lied but what choice do they offer

ps: yea i doubt the bill will pass, guys like gutierrez aint stupid, but the trick here is that the majority of ppl dont read into the fine print, and those are the votes Republicans always aim for and get, ppl who still vote on shit like gay marriage or church or shit that doesnt matter, not only will they divide and split Latino Hisp. support, they're also trying to take credit for the DA, however, there is good, each time the DA is in the news it helps us, eventually itll be talked about so much that real debates about it will start taking place, thats where the Dems ripped us off in 2010, this is the beginning but for that this bill cannot pass bc its a counterfeit watered down DA

Well, I wonder what the Rubio 'Dream Act' will actually be called. He better do not call it the Dream ACT. He should name it something along the lines of the NAACT...(Non ANMESTY Act)

Am I the only one suspicious of the Democrats' silence??????? And the Obama campaign's silence on these proposals???? It's as if they are testing how little people are willing to settle for and then plannning on aiming for the low standard.

Listen, I've been through a lot, personally and profesionally, and I can understand naivity of those who haven't had real world experiece, but, believe me, I am not trying to bring anyone down... I smell backroom deal. Just who exactly it will screw is what we'll find out.

The Democrats silence is probably based on insider info that Rubio is just spewing bullshit and won't continue on with this charade.

Honestly, this seemed like a bigger disappointment than previous DA attempts, atleast the majority of democrats supported it, unlike the majority of GOP.
