It's easy to stand from a far and throw stones and trust me, nobody shares your frustrations more than I do, but the reality is, Obama wasn't elected to serve us. He was voted in by citizens of the country and his getting re-elected depends on dealing with the issues that the majority care about the most. He doesn't owe us anything if you look at it objectively.

The current political climate is that immigration is a poison pill. If he were to act alone on anything remotely resembling amnesty on his first term especially so close to an election, the Republicans will be jumping on it like a bunch of hyenas. He's a smart guy and has the research.

It's going to take time to change the climate on immigration and at least lately it seems that we're reaching a turning point to where the average decent American has sympathy for immigration reform and in particular the Dreamers. But we shouldn't forget that there are many more who hide behind the law to cover their racism.

As far as non-criminal deportations go, I don't have the numbers but as far as deporting criminal aliens, I have absolutely no problem with that. They are the ones who give legitimacy to the detractors of immigration reform. They are part of the problem.

Just last week in Texas, an illegal was convicted of a DUI that killed a cop. It was in the news for two weeks straight showing the crying widow. In the last election for governor, Rick Perry kept parading around the widow of another cop who was shot and killed while being arrested in TV ads against Bill White blaming Bill White's "Sanctuary City" policy. These are isolated cases relatively speaking, but even if an illegal shoplifts, it'll make the news so I have no sympathy for criminal aliens who get deported. It can only help the rest of us and change the climate.

Again, I do share your frustration, but you can't call someone a name and expect him to feel sympathy for your cause when he has no obligation to do so.

I didn't know "her majesty's service" or the "health management services" could do that in the US.

In all seriousness, you/article's author should have written either DHS(Dept. of Homeland Security), or SHS (Sec. of Homeland Security). Acronyms can only serve their purpose if they are used correctly.
