Rubio never delivered and most likely never will. You work with the allies you've built with over the years AND who delivers not those that give you lip service.

On topic, not surprised really. It is just simply lame how they misuse resources considering DACA applicants would have to pay for ID and it might have helped with some State budgets. Now we'll the "who can out-republican the next republican convention".

I dont get it, doesn't the Real ID act cover whoever gets deferred action. Sec 202 (c) (2) (B) (viii).

Couldn't an organization sue the state for non-compliance. They did that here in Ohio; LULAC sued the DMV and won.

No, you are stating what you want to believe. You hang onto Rubio's promise despite the fact the he abandoned it. He was not stopped by DHS policy. If he was serious with his proposal he would've praised DHS's memo and said that there's much to be still done, would've introduced his bill which would confer actual legal status and possibility of getting permanent residency via other means. But nope, he realized that Romney doesn't want him for vice president and at that point he abandoned the idea of "Latino vote for VP nomination".

It's just a bunch of saber rattling, til the Federal gov't steps in and slaps them with the Supremacy Clause tattoo'd backhand.

Remember, Federal > State.

Rubio said June though. He did not pursue it because of DHS policy on the 15th.
