YOU did! Most people need to realize that most things that are said on the campaign trail won't make it into law for a number of reasons.

The demo-koolaid comment is ridiculous. I don't believe something because they say so. I believe in it because the information is there. Republicans filibustered every major piece of legislation in the Senate that the Democrats wanted to pass.

Sure, the President wants to pass immigration reform but who the hell you kidding???

During the recession, even healthcare reform was a big deal and that was going to benefit the CITIZENS of this country.

NOw, think about the outratge and opposition the President would have faced if he had tried to push for immigration reform while the economy was in the tank.

What you guys don't understand is that in order for Obama to hold the White House and hopefully have serious Republican partners in immigration reform, he is going to have to place it safe here and there.

Criticism of the President is fine with me, I have criticized him also but I, hopefully, will be able to work legally and drive without fear.

Call it political pandering but I know he is a good man and he means well.

Some people like you will NEVER be satisfied. Young people like you think that all problems can be solved in a short period of time. The truth is that governments need constant mandates by the people to be able to implement new policies and in 2010 people voted for Republican control of the House and that stopped any progress we had going on.

I am happy that Obama did what he did. If you can't thank him for that, than that is YOUR problem for being an ungrateful immigrant.

I love this country and I know that even though I am not supposed to be here under the law, it is up to the government to give me anything.

I am not entitled to ANYTHING, nor are you or anyone else that doesn't have a legal status.

We are at the mercy of government.
