"They should be grateful we give them so many rights even though they don't deserve them"

HAHAHA

I would like to all of you that think that way to go back through the annals of history and see who would say those words when a group of people demand rights. Hint: it's not the good guys

But anyway, people like this "journalist" fucker just anger me to death. To you all I'd advise to never take journalist's opinions as infallible just because they carry their "journalist" label in their forehead. No one is immune to political bias, journalism is rarely unbiased nowadays, especially opinion pieces like that one.

The only thing that the article produced was making buzz and steering the debate into nothing having to do with what the real problem is, which is a ineffective and outdated immigration system that does not serve the country in its current state.

At least his nativist ass won't get laid for a very long time.

Only person who got deported is him, to the sofa. No waiver available.

The demands and high-profile takeovers of congressional offices are for publicity. Obama won by moving a huge number of young folks to campaign for him, neighborhood by neighborhood, door to door. Many of his campaign stops were at universities. All your antics put you in the newspapers, so if he keeps deporting Dreamers he could risk his support base, the young guys who are your peer.

I might be wrong, but without those loud protests you would still be deported by the thousands today, instead of protected by DACA.

Let him talk. Freedom of speech. It does piss me off though, specially the comments. These people dont understand the jobs that most illegal immigrants do wont be done if the illegals dont do it. Who is going to wash dishes for 6 dollars an hour at a restraunt? An American with a house and a dog? No i dont think so.

Exactly. The other day some guy on fb started talking about that movie a day without a mexican and how the movie had lots of truth in it and then some other guy starts telling him that he found it offensive, and that illegals need to get in the back of the line blah blah that movie made it seem like he couldn't mow his own lawn, etc. I just watched didn't feel like being part of such stupidity. Yea they might not have a problem mowing their lawns but would they be willing to do that 'for a living', giving up all their rights, driver's license, social security everything??? I highly doubt many people would be willing to do it that way.

Their idea is that if there's no immigrants doing the job, then employers are gonna pay $12 instead of $6 an hour for people to wash dishes. What they don't realize is that it will also jack up prices, your steak at Chili's is gonna cost $20 instead of $12.

In the case of agricultural jobs where you pick veggies by hand, it's been proven to be impossible to find Americans willing to do it at a wage level that still leaves some profit for the farmers. In other word, without these immigrants farmers will have to change their crop or go out of business.
